As with many beneficial substances, linalool is produced in the trichomes or flowers of the cannabis plant. It is found in a variety of cultivars as well as lavender, mint, cinnamon, rosewood and some citrus plants. However, Linalool is produced in more than 200 different plant species. Also referred to as beta linalool, linaloyl oxide, linalyl alcohol, and p-linalool. Linalool is used in cosmetics, fragrances, food, and cleaning products.
